I’ve called DuPage County my home for my entire life - growing up in Glen Ellyn, playing soccer on our Park District teams, and graduating from our local public schools (Go GBS Raiders!).
After a destructive house fire in 2012, our community rallied around our family to help, and ever since, I’ve been looking for ways to give back to such caring people.
Before running for the DuPage County Board in 2018, I worked as an election judge in 2016 and a Milton Township precinct committeeperson. Knocking on doors and talking to my neighbors sparked a desire to help solve our common problems.
Since then, I’ve worked for Illinois State Representative Will Guzzardi, Congresswoman Lauren Underwood, and Lithuanian MEP Petras Austrevicius in the European Parliament, where I worked on climate policy and engaged in progressive activism. When elected, I’m excited to bring that experience to the County Board in 2020.
Ultimately, I just care about the people in my district - their thoughts, feelings, and problems. I’m younger than most people in politics, but that comes with boundless energy and and intense passion to solve our community’s issues and follow through on promises of transparency and advocacy.
